Dedicated to preserving local history, the museum’s highlight is the Hall of Commerce, which introduces visitors to High Point’s many industries. Costumed interpreters guide visitors through an 18th-century blacksmith shop and residence. Changing exhibits explore how lifestyles have changed over the years. It lies three blocks east of High Point University.
